Is there a trial class before committing to enrollment?

Yes! We offer a free trial class so your dancer can try it out before committing to enrollment.

What are the costs of classes, and are there additional fees throughout the year?

On the first day of the season, you will be charged a 20% down payment toward your total tuition. The remaining balance is divided into 8 equal installments, billed on the 1st of each month. For a full tuition breakdown, please visit the “Tuition” tab on our website.

Why are the monthly payments the same even when there are breaks?

Tuition is based on the full dance season, not the number of classes in a specific month. Some months have more classes, others have fewer due to holidays or breaks, but it balances out over the season. To make budgeting simple for families, we divide tuition into consistent, equal monthly payments.

How do I enroll in classes?

Click on enroll, create a Parent Portal on our website. Once you select your classes (if space is available), we’ll add your dancer to those classes.

Where are you located?

140 S. Solana Hills Dr, Solana Beach 92075. We are located in Solana Beach Town Center.

What should my child wear to class?

For a trial class, your dancer can wear whatever they feel comfortable in. We do have a dress code and kindly ask that dancers do not wear only a sports bra. Tank tops or t-shirts are great options. You can find the full dress code by visiting the “Dress Code” tab on our website.

Are there performance opportunities for dancers?

Yes! We offer the Nutcracker, Performance Team, Annual Recital, and Competition Team, and a Pre-Professional Program.

Do we have to participate in performances?

No. Participation in performances like the recital is optional, although over 95% of the students do the recital. It’s such a great way to show the growth of the dancer and to see all of their hard work come to life. If your dancer prefers not to perform, that’s totally fine.

What are your class sizes?

Our classes typically have 10-20 dancers, though some may be slightly larger or smaller depending on the class.

How do you communicate with parents?

We share important information through email, text (SMS), and phone calls.

What is your parent observation policy?

Parents are welcome to observe through the windows when the blinds are open. For younger classes, teachers often keep the blinds closed to reduce distractions. We do have a family viewing week 2 times a season.

What happens if my child misses a class?

Each dancer can make up a class if there is room in a similar class.

What is your class cancellation and withdrawal policy?

If you need to withdraw from a class, we ask for 30 days’ notice prior to your next billing date on the 1st of the month.

The recitals will be at the California Center for the Arts in the Center Stage theater

When is the recital?

This season, we will have four recital shows

🎭 Show 1 – Friday, May 8th at 5:30 PM (Call time 4:15-4:45)

🎭 Show 2 – Saturday, May 9th at 10:00 AM (Call time 8:45-9:15)

🎭 Show 3 – Saturday, May 9th at 1:00 PM (Call time 11:45-12:15)

🎭 Show 4 – Saturday, May 9th at 4:00 PM (Call time 2:45-3:15)

To find out which show your dancer is in, log into your Parent Portal, go to the Calendar, and check the recital events on May 8-9.

How long is the recital?

Each show will be between 60 to 75 minutes

What should my dancer wear to come to the theater?

Dancers should arrive at the studio with their hair and makeup fully done and dressed in their first costume.

Can we take photos or videos during the performance?

Yes, a professional videographer will be capturing the performance. All videos will be sent via email approximately two weeks after the recital.

When and where can I buy tickets?

To ensure all parents have the opportunity to attend, ticket sales will be limited to 3 per family from April 1st to April 10th. After April 10th, you will be able to purchase additional tickets.

Pricing is as follows:

April 1st – April 15th: $20 per ticket

April 16th – April 30th: $25 per ticket

May 1st – May 10th: $30 per ticket

Important Information: Seating is general admission.If your dancer is performing in multiple shows, you will need a separate ticket for each show. A 20% fee will be added by the theater for all online and phone purchases (no fees if you buy them onsite.

Are there classes after the recital?

Yes! We will continue classes after the recital until May 31st, 2026.

During this time, we’ll have Spirit Week, Bring-a-Friend Week, and more fun activities to celebrate the season! 🎉

Is the recital photoshoot mandatory?

Yes, the recital photoshoot is mandatory for all recital dancers. While purchasing photos is optional, all dancers must participate in the photoshoot. Regular classes will not be held during the photoshoot.
