Classes We Offer

Ballet

Ballet is a highly technical form of dance training with its own vocabulary based on French terminology. It has influenced and defined the foundation of techniques used in many other genres. It requires hard work, dedication and discipline.

Jazz

Jazz is a technique based style with a strong ballet background. There are many types of styles of jazz ranging from: Broadway jazz, modern jazz, African jazz and many more. This class consists of structure and discipline along with fun and sass.

Lyrical

Lyrical is one of the most gorgeous styles of dance, it is a fusion of ballet and jazz techniques. Dancers will learn to use motion and emotion to really interpret and showcase the meaning of the music.

Tap

Tap classes are designed to develop rhythm, style and sound. Students will learn a variety of tap styles from Broadway to rhythm tap. The class emphasis is on developing proper tap technique, producing clear tap sounds, and having fun.

Contemporary

Contemporary is an extremely artistic style of dance. It is a fusion of ballet, jazz, and modern dance, and usually contains an emotional journey, or story. There is a lot of creative freedom when it comes to contemporary dance.

Acro

Acrobatics is a style of dance that combines traditional dance techniques as well as athletic acrobatic elements. Its unique choreography seamlessly blends artistic dance movement and tricks together. Acro is a challenging dance style and takes a lot of strength and persistence to excel.

Musical Theatre

Musical theater classes are about building confidence through movement, acting and singing. It has been developed to build the skills necessary to communicate the dramatic content of musical text over a range of musical styles/categories. Students will build on voice, diction, movement, setting and staging, and musicality.

Hip-Hop

Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves..

Stretch & Strengthen

For the athlete in your family, dancers in the strength/stretch classes will learn conditioning exercises that involve cardio, strength and flexibility. Perfect for all ages and genders, this one will get your child ready for any sport season. Plus, it’s a great way to burn off excess energy!
